Going to Aquaria made me hungry. So I had sushi for dinner.

I haven't posted here for ages. Just spring cleaning right now.
When we were at Mungo Jerry at Chow Kit for supper yesterday (tasty food, but crazy dodgy area) we heard the funniest pick-up line.
Him: Can I have this chair?
Us: *nods*

Am I the only one who watches and ADORES ADORES ADORES Veronica Mars? It is such an awesome show and new season will be out next week! OMFG.
Productivity, I can predict, will be going on an all time low next week. First, its Puasa month so all thoughts will be directed towards food, whether you're Muslim or not. You can't be Malaysian and not anticipate Puasa month. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM lemang and rendang ........ *goes into spasms*
Not only that, most of tv shows are starting to premier their new seasons, week by week and we are in the thick of it! I'm already downloading CSI 7.. woohoo! I have missed Grissom. And Grey's Anatomy ... which I've never really watched but thought I'll try it. Would I be spoiling myself by watching Season 3 first?
And ... The OC (bleh but addict), November. Ryan gets into cage fighting. wtf?
So productivity? Non existent, almost. |

Freaking hair of mine. Bushy like a lion's, dry as hay, grows too fast for its own good. I cut it a month ago into this pixie-ish cut which I really liked, and now its just so overgrown and long. I can't afford to go to a salon every month for a haircut, takde time and takde money.
First post in a long while and I choose to blog about my hair. I've really just got to accept that I am not that deep.
Since the last post, I've grown into a semi-alcoholic. Sometimes I lie awake at night thinking how nice it would be to have a cocktail right now. This can't be good can it? It shouldn't worry I assume. Since I no longer intern at the magazine, I won't get free drinks as much! I mourn for the death of the freeloader in me.
There's so much happening in the upcoming months that excites me. So many gigs that excite me, so many plans in the pipeline, and in 3 months - no longer will I be a student. Its exciting and scary at the same time. As usual, no idea as to what I'd be doing after, but thats a question to worry about at the end of 2006 (which is passing so damn fast).
But for now, Starbucks Music Series, whee! Coffee and music, two precious things I hold dear. Starts tonight! At least now there's soemthing to occupy a lonely weekend.
I've already had 3 meals today, and my stomach's growling again. There is no point in trying to maintain the weight, sigh. |

argghhhhh i wanna go to bed but i know i should really type out my article now because the office offers too many distractions. and i can't believe i am leaving this week, right when i'm getting comfortable. so bloody typical to be uprooted when you've gotten used to things.

CRAP. I think I just screwed up my mp3 player's internal USB drive cos now it says Connected and Charging when its just lying here on my table. I cant seem to turn it off, and the light is continually glowing. Fuckfuckfuck. Now my journey to and fro from the office and back will be the longest fucking journey in fucking history.
I'm just really upset that I can't have my music. Sorry. |

2 weeks into interning with the magazine and I have come to realize that the so-called 'perks of the job' is bloody true.
So far I've had:
x Dinner at Mezza Notte with Belvedere Vodka's brand ambassador (where the food were somehow cooked with vodka!)
x Media cocktails with said ambassador
x Offer of a free ride on this anti-gravity machine by the people who pioneered the bunjee jump (which I turned down because I was too chickenshit)
x Hi-tea at Delicious for the launching of their hi-tea menu
x Breakfast at Dome for the launching of their All-Day Breakfast
x RM50 voucher from Dome, thanking me for coming to the event and for eating free food. The logic eludes me, but the freeloader in me is blinking furiously with her good luck.
x Pierre Cardin namecard holder
x And the icing on the cake: Puma Time watch. (Which I've yet to collect.)
And I'm supposed to go back to being a measly student after this is over? Nonsense! |
